2019 MoMA Save the Date

Please save the date for our annual art evening to support CCC and celebrate remarkable child advocates, Robert C. Sheehan, and Christine Wasserstein and Susan Wasserstein and their families. CCC at MoMA 2019 will include an exclusive early admission and reception for premium ticket holders (7:00 pm early admission), a general admission gala cocktail party (7:30 pm admission), an awards ceremony, and viewings of three new MoMA exhibitions. Premium Ticket Holder Reception and Exhibition Viewings
This VIP reception with multiple exhibition viewings* is offered to ticket holders at the Collector level and above. MoMA lecturers on hand.

7:30-9:30 pm
Gala Cocktail Party, Award Ceremony, and Exhibition Viewings
For all ticket holders, this party will be on the first floor in The Agnes Gund Garden Lobby and includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and multiple exhibition viewings* following the award presentation. Award Presentation at 8 pm.

Honoring
Robert C. Sheehan
Robert C. Sheehan is the former Executive Partner and currently Of Counsel and Pro Bono at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Robert has an incredible commitment to children and youth and social justice, ranging from his longtime work at The Skadden Fellows program, DREAM, and The Flom Foundation, to his work with The Feerick Center for Social Justice, Volunteers of Legal Service, and the Pro Bono Institute. He (and his wife Beth) have been involved with CCC for 29 years and this year marks his 50th anniversary at Skadden.

Christine Wasserstein and Susan Wasserstein and their Families
Christine Wasserstein is a CCC Board Member, retired psychoanalyst, former day care provider and elementary school teacher. She also serves on the Board of Nurse-Family Partnership and co-founded Friends of the New York Nurse-Family Partnership.

Susan Wasserstein, an art consultant, is also a CCC Board Member and serves on the Boards of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Second Stage Theater and New York Academy of Art.

Christine Wasserstein’s husband, Dan Rattiner (Dan’s Papers), and her children and their spouses, Ben Wasserstein (HBO) and Julia Turner (L.A. Times), Pamela Wasserstein (New York Media) and Adam Shapiro (Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz), and Scoop Wasserstein (Scoop Productions) and Kate Klobe (Playa), as well as Susan Wasserstein’s husband George Sard (Sard Verbinnen & Co.), and their children, Michael Sard (Tombolo Company), and Rachel Sard (artist), and her husband Jared Levy (Sard Verbinnen & Co), all support CCC and the work of many other charitable organizations.
