2018 CCC Celebrates at The Museum of Modern Art

Please join us for our annual art evening to celebrate remarkable child advocates and support CCC. CCC at MoMA 2018 will include an exclusive early admission and reception for premium ticket holders, a gala cocktail party, an awards ceremony, and access to two powerful new MoMA exhibitions.

Premium Ticket holder Reception and Viewing of
Adrian Piper: A Synthesis of Intuitions, 1965-2016

This sixth floor VIP reception and private viewing is offered to ticket holders at the Collector level and above. MoMA lecturers on hand.

7:30-9:30 pm
Gala Cocktail Party, Award Ceremony, and Exhibition Viewings
For all ticket holders, this party will be on the first floor in The Agnes Gund Garden Lobby and includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and viewing of Tarsila do Amaral: Inventing Modern Art in Brazil on the second floor. Award Presentation at 8 pm. Also includes access to Adrian Piper: A Synthesis of Intuitions, 1965–2016 on the sixth floor following the award presentation.

About Our Honorees

The Honorable Eugene A. Ludwig and Dr. Carol Ludwig
Eugene (“Gene”) Ludwig is the founder and chief executive officer of Promontory Financial Group and a trusted adviser to many of the world’s leading financial companies. Dr. Carol Ludwig served on the full time faculty of the Department of Neurology at George Washington University Medical Center and subsequently ran a clinic at the Neurology Institute of the National Institutes of Health. The Ludwigs have been significant supporters of CCC for the past decade and are major philanthropists in a number of areas, including children, families and medical research.

Elaine & Mark Kessel & Family
Elaine Kessel is a longtime CCC Board Member and psychotherapist who focuses her work on families in crisis. Mark Kessel is former managing partner of Shearman & Sterling, founder of Symphony Capital, and a worldwide health advocate. Their children Greer Hendricks and Robert Kessel, and their spouses John Hendricks and Julie Fontaine have supported CCC and the work of numerous charitable organizations for many years.

is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, and independent child advocacy organization. We educate and mobilize New Yorkers to make the city a better place for children. Our advocacy combines public policy research and data analysis with citizen action. We cast light on the issues, educate the public, engage allies, and identify and promote practical solutions to ensure that every New York City child is healthy, housed, educated and safe.

CCC Celebrates at The Museum of Modern Art is a private benefit event that supports Citizens’ Committee for Children’s critical work to make New York City a better place for children.
