Silent Auction Preview Featuring Studio Tours with Joel Shapiro, Chuck Close and More

Our benefit event at The Museum of Modern Art this Tuesday, April 23, will include a silent auction featuring studio tours with renowned artists Joel Shapiro, Chuck Close and a variety of unique experiences to enjoy art, architecture and garden design.

Joel Shapiro, our event’s Honorary Artist and Special Guest,  is one of America’s most celebrated contemporary sculptors, well known for his dynamic work composed of rectangular shapes and compelling sculptures of human forms.  Since his first exhibition in 1970, he has executed over thirty commissions and publicly sited sculptures and has been the subject of more than 160 solo exhibitions and retrospectives internationally.

Join Joel Shapiro in his studio for an exclusive look at his current work and insight into his art process. Two private tours, generously donated by Mr. Shapiro, will be available for bid in our silent auction
