New Yorkers re-elected the Mayor, the Comptroller, the Public Advocate, 4 Borough Presidents and 43 City Councilmembers. New officials were elected to fill 8 City Council seats and the office of Manhattan Borough President.

This survey was first used to inform voters before the primary election, about the candidates' views on issues that are important to families who live, work and raise their children in New York City.
