Released June 12, 2012
CCC is a member of the Campaign for Children. The Campaign is a partnership between the Emergency Coalition to Save Child Care and the New York City Youth Alliance. The goal of the Campaign was to save child care and after-school for over 47,000 children who were at risk of losing their care in the City’s Fiscal Year 2013 budget. The Campaign’s advocacy was successful and the City Council and the Mayor agreed to a budget that restored over $150 million for over 47,000 children. As part of the intensive media campaign, 43 press releases, for events held throughout the City, were written. Download the Campaign for Children press releases from February-July 2012 now.
